News: Confessions of a Libertarian Polygamist
Posted on Friday, April 18 @ 20:40:02 PDT by Virgil

Society by Anonymous
Our family looks a lot like any family you'd like to have as your neighbors. We're quiet, decent people, and we mind our own business. We don't party, our kids are all well behaved, and even if you tried, you wouldn't catch either of us so much as holding our wife's hand outside. We're not wild sex swingers and we're not horny kids. Our sex lives are private - even from each other as much as we can. In the town where we live we look as dull and normal as much as possible. My libertarian stuff is all on-line, under a different name than the one my neighbors know. The only difference between our family and others is that we have an "Uncle Steve" that lives with us.

In light of what is hapening in Texas, I was doing some research and ran across this anonymous article written from a libertarian perspective. Some questions come to mind:

1. What do you think about polygamy in light of the Scriptures?
2. What should be the government's role in this debate over polygamy?
3. Is the one-to-one Christ-to-Church relationship a picture of monogamy as most Christians would suggest?

Any ideas?

About Libertarianism,

As one who has studied and been involved with and opposed libertarianism for many years, this story is not typical of those who claim this satanic philosophy. It sounds more like a hoax playing on current events. Using a fictionalized analogy of the famous libertarian Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy and adulterous marriage and life style.

Should we have an opinion about this fictionalized lifestyle in this article? We could continue to "Joust with windmills" or "Kill one skeleton and have ten more spring up to take its place". Or we could "Come out from among them and be ye separate", rejecting this Christ hating philosophy and serve our Lord Christ.

This Christ hating philosophy is not new, it has ever been with us and was the philosophy of the ruling Sadducee and Herodian elite in first century Israel. It was one of the two philosophies specifically named in scripture that Paul fought. It has always been the philosophy of an educated elitist minority as it is today. Based upon the law of contradiction I don't see how any person today can claim to be both a Christian and a libertarian. Christianity and Libertarianism are opposed one to the other and are not compatible neither can they be. They are the flesh and the spirit vying for supremacy, you cannot serve both Christ and Belial, light and darkness.

Just as Christendom has its trinity, Rand in "Atlas Shrugged" had her unholy trinity headed up by her ersatz Christ, John Gault, who would never sacrifice his life for any man and would never ask any man to sacrifice their life for him. Since the mid seventeenth century this satanic cult has been masquerading as "Free Market Capitalism" which was invented to be the gospel of the "Anti Christ" by the French philosphe's who cloaked their Epicurean anti Christ hatred under the name of "Economiste's"

Of course Virgil, this is just IMHO.
Tom
