News: 2007: Planet Preterist in Review
Posted on Monday, December 31 @ 09:20:15 PST by Virgil

News The year 2007 has been another great year for our website and this is all because of you, visitors and users of the website. Many of you submit and write articles for the website and some post exclusive content here, which makes Planet Preterist a unique place where quality content and materials can be found. And now is time for some bragging :)

So far in 2007, the website received a total of 4,257,642 requests for a total of 1,552,737 page views for the year; an average of about 4,254 page views per day, and during this year, a total of 56.91 gigabytes worth of articles were downloaded from the website; that's a lot of text folks!

During 2007 we also hosted TruthVoice 2007: First and Last Things, one of the most successful conference we've ever had. About 120 attendees registered for the conference and about 100 attended throughout the 2 days of the conference. The number of speakers, with the great topics presented made this conference what I think to be one of the best Preterist conference one can attend today.

As we continue to pursue the study of eschatology and the implications of what it means for us today and for our future, please continue to pray for us and all of those involved in what we do. This website has reached tens of thousands of people since its inception and the conferences have touched many lives for the past 6 years; there are real and tangible results taking place in people's lives as a result of what happens here. Your prayers will make all the difference for a continued success.

Last but not least, I want to thank to every single one of you who have been supporting the conference and the website both through financial donations and through excellent materials posted here for this past year. There is no way any of this would have happened without you guys. Thank you for being part of something great and something exciting that helps the world see and recognize the Kingdom of God and his presence!

I look forward to another great year full of both surprises and exciting accomplishments for our movement and for the church of Christ!

I hope that many of you will be able to join us at TruthVoice 2008 with folks like Don Preston, Ed Stevens, Tim Martin, Sam Frost, Jack Scott and Terry Hall will share with us great insights into the Scriptures! God bless and have a great 2008!
