Funny Stuff
It appears that there will be three separate things or marks which will qualify a man to buy or sell. The first is called the 'Mark of the Beast.' If indeed the antichrist is the leader of the Soviet Union, then the mark may well be the Red Star — the universal communist symbol. This may be a simple tattoo of the communist Red Star.

News: Kevin Beck: Tim King Back in the Hospital
Posted on Wednesday, August 22 @ 20:20:06 PDT by John

Announcements Tim King went to the emergency room today in Colorado Springs (here's there now waiting to be admitted). His blood thinner level was too high, and one of his lungs was filling up. The surgeon plans on draining it tomorrow, plus going in with a scope to be sure there isn't any major scar tissue causing damage. If all goes according to plan, he'll stay over the weekend and be released on Monday.

That's the extent of what I know at the moment. I'll fill you in as the details unfold. Meanwhile, he's asked that you would pray for him.

Thanks, Kevin

Yeah,

That Warfarin/Coumadin is pretty tricky stuff, and is basically a blood thinner that is also used as a rat poison.

I'm not an expert on the stuff, only someone who has firsthand experience with a family member who also had a bad experience with blood thinners, though survived well.

Rather than checking levels via weekly or bi-weekly blood draws, there are now home finger-stick meters that are available to give Warfarin levels immediately, at home, on a daily basis. The levels can be called in to a doctor office for charting daily, too.

Coumadin (and Heparin) is commonly used to prevent or dissolve blood clots after surgery. Levels can get too high very quickly and cause bleeds, apparently like Tim's in the lung, but can also cause a bleed (stroke) in the brain, too. Certain foods (vitamin K) hinder Coumadin's action, also.

So, if Tim is on Coumadin, and if he wasn't given a home testing kit, he would do well to get one, as Coumadin is usually taken daily for a course of three months.

Peace to you all,
C. Livingstone
