News: Tim and Gwynne King in serious motorcycle accident

A few days ago Tim and Gwynne King were touring the Pacific Northwest on their motorcycle. While heading home, they wanted to drive through Yellowstone National Park. A driver in a truck heading in the same direction as Tim and Gwynne pulled off the left-hand side of the road to get mail out of a box. The driver, then, made a 90 degree turn back across the road to enter a driveway. The driver didn’t see Tim and Gwynne, and an accident ensued.
Both Tim and Gwynne were taken to area hospitals. Gwynne has no broken bones and no internal injuries. She has severe road rash and has been released from the hospital. Tim’s injuries include road rash, broken ribs, a broken shoulder, a broken collar bone, and a punctured lung. Tim remains in the hospital, and hopes to be released soon. His sense of humor was not injured at all…he said that he had asked God for a new motorcycle, but didn’t realize this is how his prayer would be answered!
Tim, Gwynne, and the entire King family appreciate your prayers and thoughtful wishes. We’re blessed to have some friends in the area and others who drove a few hours to stay onsite and help with everything.
