Funny Stuff
Don't be disturbed when people accuse you of thinking you're God. The more you get to be like Me, the more they're going to think that way of you. They crucified Me for claiming that I was God. But I didn't claim I was God; I just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah. That's what you're doing.

Preterism: Jesus, Hades and Mythology
Posted on Wednesday, July 11 @ 21:42:34 PDT by Virgil

Preterism At TruthVoice 2007, Jeremy Lile had a fantastic presentation on the cultural and anthropological context of the ideas of Hades, Hell and eternal conscious punishment and how perhaps our modern understanding is rooted in mythology rather than reality. We finally are making this presentation available to you for free, in the hope that a better understanding of those concepts will also help you better understand eschatology and perhaps ultimately what Christianity is all about.

Jeremy, again this is an awesome presentation. I hope everyone here will watch it; we'll also release it as a podcast episode to the subscribers so they'll get an audio copy of it.

Good job! :)

To All,

I beg to differ with Jeremy's entire theory as demonstrated from my own prior posting. Blessings.

Hey, Virgil:

I love the lead-in music. My wife and I will be spending the evening with Bob Dylan on Sunday... from the audience :)

It's unfortunate that whoever edited this piece faded up the music before the expositor was able to speak out his last sentence, which was in fact his conclusion (from what I can only assume).

Anyone care to type his last sentence out?
