News: Encouraging news...
Posted on Thursday, June 28 @ 08:00:14 PDT by Virgil

Announcements Sam Frost just posted on Jim Kessler's blog a short announcement regarding his wife's potential Lupus diagnoses. The good news is that Sam's wife does not have Lupus. Of course we are rejoicing with Sam but continue to pray that the doctors will find what is wrong with his wife's health

To quote Sam:

By the way....first announcement here....You heard it first here! My wife, recently diagnosed with Lupus.....HAS NO LUPUS!!!! The blood tests came back, amazingly, in reverse of the previous tests!!!!! The next Preterist that tells me that prayer and the Holy Spirit ceased in A.D. 70 has ME to contend with!

Sam

Sam said… “The next Preterist that tells me that prayer and the Holy Spirit ceased in A.D. 70 has ME to contend with!”

And rightfully so.

There is nothing that demonstrates to us the power of our living God than what we witness as his intervention in our personal lives.

God is good.
Blessings Sam

Like I told Sam, this is wonderful news. I hope the doctors will figure it all out in the end and provide a diagnosis...

Wonderful news to hear and we'll keep praying about everything. :)
God definitely hears our prayers and always answers them. Sometimes not how we expected and most times even better than we hoped.

Thank you all from my heart for your prayers. You are never out of the woods with this kind of illness/diagnosis. But right now, things are quite good.

Sam,

good to hear the news about your wife! Yes, prayers are still answered today, and God is still working in peoples lives.

I haven't had a chance to read your part 1 response to Kurt yet, but I will get to it. I am currently at Myrtle Beach enjoying the ocean with the family. Both my kids are on cloud-nine. Exciting, but they are wearing me out!

Anyway, I am looking forward to reading it. I'm so glad God is using you for service in His Kingdom. I must say you are becoming one of my favorite "scholars" to read and listen to.
