Funny Stuff
The "mark" itself is at once a number and a name. The Apostle tells us what it is. As he gives it, it is made up of two Greek characters which stand for the name of Christ, with a third, the figure of a crooked serpent, put between them, the name of God’s Messiah transformed into a Devil sacrament.

News: Three thousand articles old
Posted on Tuesday, March 06 @ 06:37:05 PST by Virgil

Announcements Last night article number 3,000 was posted on Planet Preterist and that in itself is a milestone for this website. What started in June 2002 as a little personal project has become an online community where Christians interact and grow on a daily basis. I want to thank all of you who are columnists, members and participate with articles and comments. I want to also thank to those other silent thousands of users who read the site every day and never comment. You have made PP what it is today...take a look at this snapshot of where PP was four years ago and where it is today, 1728 days later; thanks to ALL of you :)

As Jason was saying in an earlier comment, the online Preterist community is not what Preterism is all about, but it may be a small window into our movement and into its growth.

This site is excellent Virgil! I am very grateful to see Jesus Christ expressing His work through you in this way. I know personally that your efforts, through the guidance of our King, has changed the worldview of a significant number of Christians. These are exciting times and I thank you for hanging in there through all the challenges you must face.

Virgil,
Great work. So what was the big deal the week of Jan 16, 2005? Maybe the major articles that week could be reposted as a "best of PP."
