"Our future is at stake, I'm battling the forces of darkness and I've got to know that you are there and you care about me remaining behind this microphone to deal with the devil and expose what the forces of evil are doing to destroy your home, your church, and your family so back me now!" -- Bob Larson |

Virgil Vaduva was admitted to a local hospital on Sunday morning due to an unexpected seizure.
I spoke with him by phone and he is doing well, however the doctors still do not know the cause. An MRI did NOT reveal any issues such as tumors, etc. At this time they are still testing him to try and determine the cause.
Please pray for him and his family as they go through this event. This is a heavy burden for anyone to go through and I know they would appreciate it.

Many thanks to all... (Score: 1)

Dr. Denen was able to determine that the level of Phosphorus in my blood was extremely low and that is likely the cause of what happened. A normal person has between 2.4 and 4.1 milligrams per deciliter - my level was 0.5 mg/dl.
So despite wild speculations, the reason was NOT Brian McLaren! :)
On the serious note again I want to say thanks to all of you guys and gals praying for me. When I have some time I'll blog on this in more detail. |

About 20 years, while I was camping, I experience a brief seizure for some unknown reason. It was something of a partial one, since I didn't lose full consciousness or have any incontinence. I kind of fell to the ground after going down a trail one morning. It lasted about 40 seconds with some pretty vigorous shaking on the ground, but there were no severe contortions as are sometimes seen with epileptics. I was just flat on my back shaking.
I was young man at the time, and I finally concluded that it was due to orthostatic hypotension from rising too quickly and jogging the short distance down to the stream.
I never experienced another seizure-like episode like that again. And it sounds to me like you too may have experienced your once-and-only seizure.
Peace be with you,
C. Livingstone |
