Funny Stuff
Watch me! You watch me and this Mr. Cessna man here, I'll be the first preacher to buy a brand new, spankin' new, brand new jet that will fire all over this world. Get that sucker out of that glass hanger!...You can say all you want, Jack. I'll fly by your house and tip the wing. I'm gonna get something for Jesus. I'm gonna do something for God.

News: TruthVoice 2007 six months away!
Posted on Saturday, October 28 @ 10:51:31 PDT by Virgil

Announcements Dear Friends, Time has come again to announce the time and place of our 2007 Covenant Eschatology conference! Planet Preterist and The Miami Valley Church are excited to announce that our TruthVoice 2007 conference will take place on April 13 and 14 (Friday and Saturday), 2007 in Springfield, Ohio.

The Springfield Courtyard Marriott will again be hosting our conference in their facilities, making it possible to have a central location that is easily accessible from both Dayton and Columbus airports and the intersection of two major highways, I-70 and I-75. We are hoping that moving the conference up one month earlier and meeting on a Friday and Saturday will make it easier for more of you to attend and join us. So mark your calendar and please join us for a memorable weekend!

The theme of the 2007 conference will be “The First and Last things of our Faith.” Our speakers will discuss how the Christian Faith should be framed in light of Preterism and Fulfilled Eschatology, and how the “first things” of Christianity can be discovered through the study of the “last things” (Eschatology). This is an exciting topic that is often overlooked by theology scholars, even within Preterism. We want our conference to not just bring to light things of the past, rather we want to energize each other to look forward to the things of the future, to learn how to live, work and build a world and a future for Christ. We want to study the first and last things of the Scriptures in order to be encouraged about the future, and we are hoping that you as excited about your life’s journey as we are and you will join us into making and actively building the future of our faith, a future that God has put into our hands. Let us stop looking longing for the past and be fearful of the future, and let us take hold of the bright future Christ spoke of.

Our keynote speaker for this conference will be Jack Scott, a veteran scholar, minister and speaker. Keep an eye on http://truthvoice.com for updates and for the final list of speakers. If you wish to attend this conference, please send an email to info@truthvoice.com with your name and mailing address, and also contact the hotel at 937-322-3600 for reservations. Mention the “TruthVoice Conference” to receive the discount.

We are hoping to see you in April. May God continue to bless you throughout your journey.

In Christ,

The PlanetPreterist.com Family
