Death will not be conquered by Jesus returning to the earth. It will be conquered when the church stands up boldly and says, 'We have dominion over the earth!' How else will God be able to show Satan a people for whom death holds no fear, over whom death no longer has any power? When God can do that, Satan's hold on us will be broken forever!"

News: There Can Be No End to Jihad
Posted on Sunday, May 28 @ 20:39:52 PDT by Virgil

Other Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad is the leader of one of the most controversial Islamist groups in the U.K., Al Muhajiroun (which means "the emigrants" in Arabic). He attracted global media scrutiny on the first anniversary of 9/11 by staging a meeting entitled "A Towering Day in History," and unveiled a poster that depicted the second airplane advancing toward the World Trade Center. This is an interview done by Christianity Today with Sheikh Omar - while about a year old, this interview still reveals an interesting side of the Christian/Islam conflict.

Sure,

Arabs and Persians have been kicked around by virtually all of the colonial and imperial Powers, lately.

But, the writing on the wall says that Wash DC will probably have to stop its exploits before it exhausts its military, the US economy, or it collapses the US Paper Dollar.

Wash DC has over 700 military installations abroad, but it still will not be able to control the flow of Middle Eastern oil. Muslims and Islam will not tolerate that for much longer, and can sabatoge the flow of their own oil to force world prices up and put world pressure on Wash DC to withdraw its occupation and military bases that are encircling the Middle East.

Maybe soon, Muslims will also throw out the Wash DC-supported facist dictatorships and monarchies in places like Saudi, Pakistan, Kuwait, Egypt, and Jordan, (Iran and Iraq were both former puppets of Wash DC, too, and the US and Israel were both driven out of occupied Lebannon some time ago.) etc., so that they can set up their Caliphate.

Must every North American be conscripted into using violence against Muslims in another period of futile Crusades?

No, everyone has a choice, unless Americans have come to believe that they are slaves to an Idol and a Beast seated in the District of Columbia.

Or, should US Taxpayers be extorted from in order to try control Middle Eastern oil or to try to stop Muslims from establishing a Caliphate?

Of course not; again, people have choices.

Let the Middle East have a Caliphate, if they can keep one.

To come in opposition to Muslims, Islam, or a Caliphate will only strengthen them, and it may cause a complete exhaustion in those who are foolish enough to come half way around the globe to try to control and occupy the Middle East at this time in History.

The Middle East, and Latin America, is in the process of deciding that it will no longer be dominated by foreign imperial Powers. And, indirectly, the violence in the Middle East is assisting Latin America to break free of the many decades of domination by Wash DC and the Monroe Doctrine. And that's undoubtedly why statist idolators, like Rev. Pat Robertson, called for Wash DC to assassinate the wildly popular Hugo Chavez, in Venezula, since US-supported coups don't seem to work as well as they used to down there, anymore.

Peace to you all,
C. Livingstone

Thanks for posting this, Virgil. Responding to it will take a little time, but I shall tell myself that I have a duty to do so.

The views of Sheikh Omar represent pretty standard fare for Muslims who attempt to guide their views by the Quran and the hadiths. As far as I am concerned, he represents "mainstream Islam" in the sense of applying the sola scriptura principle of the Islamic faith. That faith, as Omar makes very clear, champions world conquest by force.

Some may point out that Omar writes that "Under the Islamic State there is no compulsion to convert to Islam" and want to argue that world conquest by force is an overstatement of what Islam preaches. As far as I am concerned, such measures as the jizya tax, no building of new churches, no proselytizing for non-Muslims, no non-Islamic judges, no private schools, etc. add up to compulsion.

Given the FACT that world conquest by force is the stated aim of Islam, I have to laugh at the writings on these matters by people like ChrisLiv, who, like others on this site, wants to assign most or all of the blame for our problems with Islam on our supposed desire to dominate the Middle East. Sometimes ChrisLiv makes sense, but on Islam he makes no sense whatsoever. Sorry, Chris.

Sheikh Omar wants to restore the Caliphate and extend its sway to the whole world. Then we would have peace, etc. In truth, Muslims have never known peace. The very nature of their religion assures that they will always be at war WITH EACH OTHER if no one else is around to fight. Islam is a religion that was ingeniously designed to further conquest by bedouin Arabs. It is a religion that brings destruction in its path and leads to the suppression of human freedom, including the freedom to critically examine Islam's history and "holy" writings.

I had to laugh when Omar referred to the Hudaibiyya Treaty, which Mohammed revoked as soon as he thought he was strong enogh to take Mecca. So much for treaties! I also had to laugh at the notion that the problems of Islamc nations are due to their victimization at the hands of the United States and other non-Muslim nations. As Bernard Lewis points out in "What Went Wrong," most Muslims have been unable to face up to the fact that their societies are screwed up because of their own shortcomings. It is always easier to play the blame game than to face the truth. But Muslims, and especially Arabs, like to tell themselves that they should be on top in the world, and self-analysis generally does not come easily to them.

I could go on and on, but I shall conclude now with the following assertions. There can be no peace between Islam and the rest of the world unless Islam goes through a reformation that makes the Protestant Reformation look simple. To the extent that people in this country ally themselves with the Islamists and place the blame for the problems of the Muslim world on the shoulders of the U.S. Government, they tend to encourage nuts like Sheikh Omar to think they are winning.

Why do Muslim extremists hate us?

They hate us because we are Jewish, they hate us because we are Christian, they hate us because we are atheist. In short they hate us because we are not Muslim. Even if we became Muslim some would still hate us because we are not their kind of Muslim (e.g. in Iraq, Sunnis are killing Shiites). The problem with Islam goes back to its founder. Whereas Jesus said to pray for ones enemies, Mohamed said to kill ones enemies. The only way to please a Muslim extremist is to succumb to their brand of Islamic fascism.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition...

Marine at Haditha: 'I Can Still Smell the Blood' (Score: 1)

Marine at Haditha: 'I Can Still Smell the Blood'

Military Investigates Alleged Killing of Civilian Iraqis by U.S. Troops
By JONATHAN KARL

May 29, 2006 — - As military officials investigate the Haditha killings in Iraq, one of the Marines involved has spoken out about what he saw last year.

Only hours after Iraqi civilians were killed, a second team of Marines was sent in to take the victims' bodies to a local morgue.

Lance Corp. Ryan Briones was among the Marines sent in to recover the bodies, and he told the Los Angeles Times he is still haunted by what he saw, including a young girl who was shot in the head.

"[The victims] ranged from little babies to adult males and females," Briones told the newspaper. "I can still smell the blood."

Briones says he and another Marine were told to photograph the bodies. Military officials say those photos -- which they say show people shot at close range in the head and chest -- clearly contradict initial reports that the civilians were killed by a roadside bomb.

'Something Broke Down Here'

Officials familiar with the investigation say Sgt. Frank Wuterich was the top-ranked Marine to enter the houses where the civilians were killed and is the center of the investigation.

In an interview with "Good Morning America" today, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said there are now two investigations into the killings that occurred last November.

"One is to find out what happened. The other is to find out, why did it take us so long to find out what happened?" said Gen. Peter Pace.

More than two months after the incident Time magazine asked the military to respond to allegations of the killings.

The magazine says a Marine spokesman responded with an e-mail stating, "I cannot believe you're buying any of this. This falls into the same category of Al-Qaeda in Iraq propaganda."

It was only after Time magazine showed a video in February to another military spokesman in Baghdad that an investigation was begun.

"Something broke down here in the sense that no investigation was conducted immediately," said Gen. Jack Keane. "Therefore, people most likely in the chain of command who had knowledge and should have taken action appropriately did not and they will be under investigation for the failure to do that."

When Did The Taliban Get unconverted - Dazed and Confused (Score: 1)

OK,

I am dazed and confused. In the late 70's Zbigniew Brzezinski visited the Taliban in Pakistan during the Russian invasion. Pointing to Afghanistan he said "That land is yours" and "your cause is just because God is on your side"

Well it is true that Zbig was a Dem but how did God change sides?

This is video clip of Zbig's speach:
