News: Planet Preterist to close down permanently

After being in negotiations with with attorneys for the past 48 hours, we now regret to inform all our users that as of Sunday, 12:00 AM, Planet Preterist will shut down its operations on a permanent basis. This is due to a trademark dispute that is spanning back several years and is now forcing us to stop using the name and resources of Planet Preterist.
Because Corp Alvin Inc. owns various trademarks related to the back-end operations of our website, we can no longer use the current format and the name "Planet Preterist" or use the software we are currently using. Reprogramming the website under the proposed conditions would be impossible to do - we are however hoping to start operating under a new name in the near future.
We want to thank all of you for your continuous support over the past few years and for standing by us in times of need and trouble.
If interested in our bookstore inventory, please contact us with offers and suggestions.

In calender 2007, dating will now move sequencially from March 31 to April 2. This only applies to those citizens of the USA having immigrated from Romania and holding Preterist views of prophecy.

Since Planet Preterist must close down, myself and other Biblical writers are now put in the position of reworking our prophecies to fit futurist interpretations. Planet Preterist has been invaluable in advancing the understanding that these prophecies were fulfilled in the first century, but without PlanPret's help, we are retro-fitting prophecy to match the Left Behind paradigm, even though that's not what we originally meant. Sorry to see ya go...
