WorldNetDaily published a very strange story about a group of Americans who formed "Zion Oil" and are using out-of-context Old Testament scriptures to find huge reserves of oil in Israel, north of Tel Aviv. Such passages are: "Let Asher be blessed ... and let him dip his foot in oil" (Deuteronomy 33:24) and "Joseph is a fruitful bough by a well ... blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that couches beneath shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head. (Genesis 49: 22-26)

As to the passages, it seems like a lot to rest your whole theory on just two passages. Sounds a bit like the rapture doctine if you aks me. |
