Click the link and scroll down to Chapter 4.
Interesting, eh? The muslims can be quick converts to Preterism.

Note: EWMI made a comment in a previous article about the "positions in Islam." I think this web site does a good job of explaining some views of the Muslims.

Doesn't sound like a potential "quick converting" to me . . . sounds more like they have their mind set on Futurism. Of course, after negating the death and resurrection of Christ, everything else just goes downhill.

If we had to that is.
Another good reason to be a full preterist.

Here are some excerpts from the preface which is numerous paragraphs in length:
========
"Muslims are encouraged to study and gain knowledge and to base their worship upon a combination of knowledge and faith, and not faith alone. ....
"Muslims are also encouraged to study other religions and to compare them to Islam. They are commanded to never be among those who accept Islam on blind faith or in conformance to the current trend in their society. Rather, they are commanded to make up their own minds and to enter into Islam with their eyes wide open, after they have thoroughly tested it's validity as the command of God.
"In the Qur'an, we are told that the Gospel of Jesus (pbuh) underwent a series of major alterations after his departure until six hundred years later the changes to this gospel had become so severe as to necessitate God's intervention. This is when the final message of God for all time, the message of Islam was sent down upon Muhammad (pbuh). This book attempts to study this claim in as much detail as humanly possible within my limited abilities in order to test the truthfulness of this assertion.
"At first I had expected my research to involve a slow and painful search through a sparse number of obscure ancient Christian documents. This did not prove to be the case. Once I began to look for the truth I was practically overwhelmed by a veritable avalanche of detailed Christian studies all leading to the same conclusion: That mankind has taken great liberties with the text of the Bible over the ages. ...
"I do not deceive myself. This book will never be the definitive answer to all questions. However, I hope that this book will at least get people interested enough that they may go out, read the Bible and the Qur'an carefully, and seek knowledge for themselves. If I manage to accomplish this then I have done my job. There are many other things I would like to say but I must keep the size of this book under some semblance of control. I have therefore spent most of my efforts speaking about comparative religion between Islam and Christianity in order to prove the truthfulness of the affirmations of the Qur'an and that it was indeed sent by the same God who sent Jesus (pbuh). ..."
------------------------
I deduced from limited reading that the "(pbuh)" is a ritualized veneration to the preceding named one: an acronym for "peace be unto him". [ actually it is "peace be upon him" -- confirmed at: Acronym Finder --
http://www.acronymfinder.com/acronym.aspx?rec={8DFA11EF-89E8-11D4-8351-00C04FC2C2BF} ]
The Table of Contents listings look like some interesting reading. That is a daunting time commitment!
In the Preface paragraph with acknowledgements, I recognize the name -- Shaik Ahmed Deedat.
His site is -- ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY - A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS -- http://jamaat.net/deedat.htm
I had previously found the site by Google to the page at --
IS THE BIBLE GOD'S WORD? - By Ahmed Deedat http://jamaat.net/bible/BibleIntro.html
This section shows up in Google searches with some keywords like: "bible is not the word of god"
Some challenging issue questions here, but much argumentation is thin or off-point castigation of fringe sects.
While I have yet to read to full depth, my present premise is that Scripture serves a better apologetic as "witness" rather than unsupported claim as "Word of God".

A thought ... (Score: 1)
by EWMI on Tuesday, December 13 @ 20:09:25 PST (User Info | Send a Message) | Christianity teaches that a)Jesus is the Son of God, b)The Word Made Flesh who dwelt among us c)Sinless d)Born of a Virgin etc
Islam teaches that Jesus was a) born of a virgin b)sinless c)a great teacher and probably other things (I could be corrected here) (Certain vile, blasphemous to Jesus and Mary artworks were removed from display in New York years ago because of Muslim not Christian threats.)
Hinduism would accept Him as a Holy Man, sort of another God, still great in some sense
Buddhism, also would venerate Him as a Holy Man, not as great as the Buddha but great none the less
Judaism, considers him a)a false prophet b) born of an affair Mary had with a Roman c) Burning in Hell
So, there is a sense in which Islam is the closest to Christianity and Judaism is the furthest
