Funny Stuff
"I personally believe that the MARK will be either an invisible laser tattoo (they are in the skin) or a micro chip, which will be placed under the skin having the Uniform Product Code (UPC). This MARK, a type of bar code in the skin or on the micro chip, would be scanned at the point of trade."

Left Behind? A Preterist Dating Site?
Posted on Sunday, September 11 @ 11:25:06 PDT by Virgil

Amusing andrethethinker submitted: "If you take the entire half of the (female) population and reduce it to those who are "true Christians" and then further subtract from these numbers those catholics, premillenialists, orthodox and evangelicals who would have a problem with preterist presuppositions (e.g. that the gospel HAS BEEN preached by the apostles to the ends of the earth [Col. 1])... and then subtract from these remaining numbers those who are married (and perhaps divorced)...

IS ANYONE LEFT?

~Andre
p.s. Oh how nice it would be if you were one of these and hispanic/latina and living in Ontario CANADA but ah-ha since I just put in this complicated order you probably have not been born yet. ;) :("

I know of a couple of more preterist guys in your situation. I am sure the right girl will come along...soon :)

Andre,

A number of mainstream denominations teach/accept a Gary-Demar-style preterism (i.e., nearly full preterism). Catholics, Orthodox, Presbyterians, Reformed, and some Methodists (I think?) embrace preteristic views (including the notion that the gospel was preached to ends of the earth by St. Paul etc.).

In other words, there may be far more women out there than you orginally thought.

God bless,
Parker

Andre,
I have a 20 year old daughter. Her birth mother was hispanic. Although not a preterist (not that she doesn't embrace it, but she just isn't that interested in arguing about theology), her father is (that would be me), and she often asks me questions about theology.

She's pretty, and lives at home with me in northern Michigan. What part of Ontario are you from? I have family in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto, as well as distant kind in Kincardin (sp?) and London area.

And thankfully we all know that Virgil does not mean "soon" in the "1000's of years" sense. ;-)

It doesn't really matter what background they are from. I started dating a girl and before we actually officially started dating, told her of my preterist beliefs and she thought it made sense to her. She's not into theology, but likes to hear this point of view. Bottom line, don't be afraid to ask girls out. Let the theology come later.
Blessings,
Keith

Nevermind race, also finding someone in a particular age bracket (29-36?) is also another "obstacle", so to speak. ;-) This is in addition to being from Manitoba, Canada!
