When you have developed your faith to such an extent that you can stand on the promises of God, then you won't need medicine. That's the reason I don't take medicine. -- Frederick Price, Faith, Foolishness, p. 88 |

JaDon Productions, llc is proud to announce a brand new audio book by Don K. Preston. “The Hymenaen Heresy: Reverse the Charges!”
Opponents of Covenant Eschatology charge preterists with heresy, of “resurrecting” the Hymenaean Heresy of 2 Timothy 2:18. To this date, there has not been a systematic preterist response to this charge. Now, however, Don K. Preston confronts this charge head on, in his typical thorough style.
This three part, 5 CD (or tapes), series powerfully refutes that charge. The study includes:
1.) Exegesis of 2 Timothy 2.18. This part of the study alone is more than well worth the price! It seems that neither the opponents of Covenant Eschatology, or its advocates, have paid enough careful attention to the context of 2 Timothy 2:18, and what Paul actually says. Few seem to notice that Paul cites the O. T. to not only condemn Hymenaeaus, but to justify his own doctrine of the nature of Christ’s kingdom. Paul is saying that Hymenaeus and Philetus were committing the same dangerous act as Korah, challenging the identity of God’s chosen ones! How does this belief impact our understanding of Hymenaeus’ beliefs about the resurrection? Very directly!
2.) Scriptural demonstration of when resurrection was to occur. The second part of this study is an in-depth analysis of Daniel 9:24f, in correlation with 1 Corinthians 15, showing that the resurrection is inextricably linked with the last days of Israel, and has nothing to do with the end of time or the end of the Christian Age. Preston uses some of this material in public debate, and its impact was very powerful and effective.
3.) Examining the charge of heresy in light of 2 Timothy 2, showing that opponents of Covenant Eschatology are guilty of seriously abusing that text. This part of the study shows that the amillennial and postmillennial paradigms, especially, are guilty of egregious error in divorcing Biblical eschatology from the frame work of Israel’s last days. While noted Reformed postmillennialists are vehemently charging preterists with heresy, this part of the study demonstrates beyond doubt that those making the charge are guilty of serious error in regard to eschatology.
Also included in this study is a CD with a PowerPoint presentation of section 3.
This study by Preston is the most exhaustive, in-depth analysis not only of 2 Timothy 2:18, but of the overall charge of heresy being leveled against the preterist movement. This study will equip you to respond to these charges in a solid, exegetical, logical manner.
The study comes to you in an attractive protective folder that will keep your CDs handy and protected as well.
If you have been troubled by the charge of heresy, and who wouldn’t be, and want solid, Biblical, and logical answers to this troubling accusation, you need to get this study by Don K. Preston. Just out of curiosity, and in your view, what happens to us as believers today (post A.D. 70) immediately after we die -- i.e. where do we go and in what form are we in ???
Blessings,

As you may have noticed, there is a blog of Virgils with the question on repentance after death. That would be a good article topic. What say you? Does Gods' grace flow to the Dead, Dead after Death? can we 'repent' and be saved when we stand in front of God ready to be Judged (I believe that we are judged now). Are all humanity 'saved' as in the idea of Christians being saved today? And when I call to order the CDs, Do you take Credit Cards over the phone? In Christs Love Les |
