In what amounts to almost a criminal attack, a partial preterist website is now promoting the idea that that Full-Preterists are like a Pedophile with unfettered access to a room full of children promising not to touch them. Amazingly, this article is now making the rounds of other partial preterist websites and is apparently being used to condition people in the likeness of Pavlov's dog so when confronted with Preterism they run as fast and as far from them [preterists] as they can.Sharon Beverly, of whiteroseofsharon.com recently published an article titled The Deadly Poison of Pantelism in which she uses some extremely vicious language to warn off people about "Pantelism" which in her opinion is "anti-Christ" and an "insidious heresy."
She states: "I've read differing opinions from various members of the church who have written against Pantelism about whether or not Pantelists should be cast from the church as heretics, or allowed to fellowship with the sheep so long as they agree to keep their mouths shut about their bizarre beliefs.
And closes the article with "My personal opinion? Knowingly allowing a rabid Pantelist to mingle with the sheep in the pasture is akin to allowing a Pedophile unfettered access to a room full of children so long as he promises not to touch them. Right.
This is the latest in a series of vicious attacks against Full-Preterists coming from what seems to be a small but vocal group of partial preterists headed by an individual using the name Dee Dee Warren. I encourage and urge those partial preterists who frequent this website and who have more common sense and grace, to make an appeal to those individuals to tone down their vitriolic and nonsensical attacks.
Individuals like Dee Dee Warren are using the names of Gary DeMar, Ken Gentry and Hank Hanegraaff as umbrellas to justify these continuous ad-hominem attacks. Perhaps those partial preterist leaders and wonderful theologians could attempt to control their flock and attempt to create a constructive atmosphere that would glorify God instead of tearing others down.
I love it - any publicity is good publicity, as it will bring enquiries, and those of a genuine searching nature will be challenged to think - this pantelist says "bring it on!!"

You are most likely right Jamie, but they will probably already believe anything anyway. I work on the principle of finding "a son of peace" [Lk 10:6] i,e., there are some out there in the crowd genuinely seeking - I go with that.

A room full of children IS a pretty good description of the typical church!! Mostly defenseless against the Preterist!!

A few more examples of Sharon's rhetorical verbiage from her article:
Aids, cultic sirens, prostitute, serpent, brain-washing, ensnare, attack, anti-Christ, devil's doctrines, dark lies, heresy, lies from the pit, conscience seared, insidious heresy
Save the reference to 2 Timothy 2 at the top of her article, she offered no scriptural support for these charges. She simply used emotive language to stir up people's fears rather than their intellects. I can empathize with her concerns, having held a futurist view at one time, but this kind of speech is counterproductive to her cause. At least she uses her real name :)

People, who have fallen into Preterism through study know that they/we/I can not go back to 'what I was before'. We have wanted for Preterism to become more 'known'. My friends, it is getting more known, and becoming distorted from the outside. People fear what they do not know. We must study scripture longer and harder and teach scripture with scripture. As the High Priest said about Jesus, "For one man must die, Lest we lose Our High Place and nation." These people are very afraid of losing 'their' high place. We will all be attacked at one time or another for what we believe scripture shows is true. Be prepared to defend the Gospel in a loving and scriptural way. I believe that we are standing on solid ground and that truth will prevale. We are slowly pulling the sand from under the traditional foundations. Pulling too fast it could crush us all, pulling too slow, the traditions of men may never come down.

I recently argued with Dee Dee (seen on our site, www.christcovenantchurch.com click forum), and it was quite fun to watch her fall apart through contradictions. She is recently on a blog (deedeewarren.blogspot.com). I believe in arguing with people like this so that all can see the flimsy argument they present. By, the way, click on the Dee Dee Warren link on this article above....hilarious.

I am the person she is refering to, and she has totally misrepresented what happened,in the process slandering me. At least she didn't mention me by name, but the people that were on her group at the time witnessed this and DO know who she is refering to, which I don't appreciate.
It was only the other day I discovered that she had this article on Dee Dee Warren's web site. I personally e-mailed her requesting she modify her article to reflect the whole truth, to which she offered to put my response below the article, but did not agree to modify her article.
I still have all the e-mails I sent to her as proof of what actually transpired. Her tirade in her article is a gross misrepresentation of what she THINKS were my intentions, and it seems nothing I say is going to change her mind.
If anyone wishes for more information, please feel free to e-mail me personally. Also, if someone can direct me to where else her article may be posted, I would greatly appreciate it.
