Prominent activist and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader will appear on The Voice of Reason radio program hosted by John Anderson. The interview will air at 7PM eastern time.
Nader is the founder of at least five, now independent activist organizations including Public Citizen, a membership organization founded in 1972 that now consists of five quasi-autonomous groups: Congress Watch, the Health Research Group, the Litigation Group, Critical Mass Energy Project, and Buyers Up, a fuel-buying cooperative.
Nader is nationally recognized as one of the most outspoken, unrelenting, and influential political and social activists of our time. He has appeared on virtually all of the major network talk programs, as well being featured in news magazines such as Time, Newsweek, etc.. When Nadar speaks, lots of folks, from presidents to the public, pay attention.
"The legacy that Nader has achieved over thirty years of advocacy is considerable. It can be seen in entirely new bodies of legislation and case law, dozens of new governmental programs designed to protect the public, industries whose competition is more robust and performance more innovative than previously, and far more plentiful consumer-oriented information. He has also helped bring into being a national network of activists and supporters, whose careers, strategies, and ideals he has strongly influenced. Paradoxically, a large number of Nader's most significant triumphs – for new consumer rights, open government, and more humane business practices – have been so integrated into the culture that they are now taken for granted." The topic of the program with Anderson will be focussed on Nader's new book The Good Life, as well as address the issue of Christian Zionism and its impact on American foreign policy and politics. Nadar has expressed a growing concern that the Zionist movement in America is having an inordinate impact on foreign policy decisions, and is potentially detrimental for the future well being of America.
This interview promises to be another watershed event in the growth and stature of The Voice of Reason. Host John Anderson has been sucessful in booking some of the foremost authors, theologians and public figures of the day to appear on his program. Anderson has been host to and moderator of numerous debates with some of the leading evangelical figures on his program, and has interviewed many authors of ground breaking new works. The Voice of Reason promotes open dialogue, and is very active in calling Bible believers to rethink traditional beliefs.
