Planet Preterist 2.0 ...the First Step

By Virgil - Posted on 24 March 2006

Planet Preterist is now going through a major redesign process and reworking of both the front-end and the back-end operations of the site. This is done in order to improve the speed of the site, your experience and the way articles are handled and posted on the site. As part of this redesign, a few months ago we had a "Call for Logos" competition where several of you submitted logos to be considered. Thanks to Kyle Peterson, we finally have a new logo...and more details on the future operations of the website.Whe we started working on creating a new identity, we wanted to come up with an easy to identify logo that communicates the living presence of Christ.

The new logo is a clear and lively representation of the Tree of Life and the healing of the nations brought about by Christ's presence in the world today, with the River of Life flowing continuously out, having a global impact on our world.

The new logo will be implemented when Planet Preterist 2.0 goes live.

If you are one of the submitters of a logo for the logo contest, please e-mail us your mailing address so we can send you a thank-you gift in mail. We are honored that so many submissions were made and we hope that you will continue to participate on Planet Preterist with ideas, suggestions and feedback in order to make Planet Preterist the best Preterist website out there.

LOVE THAT LOGO!
WOW-

That's the passage. That is home. That's where we live!

Here in England, on a sunny spring morning, the new Planet Preterist logo seems inspiring… perfect choice. It’s got the ‘wow’ factor! Looks like we’re already entering thru the gates “…and night shall not be there, and they have no need of a lamp and light of a sun, because the Lord God doth give them light, and they shall reign -- to the ages of the ages.” Rev 22:5 (Robert Young’s trans.)

Thanks for the kind comments. A sunny spring day in England? That doesn't sound right :)

OK, then, a cloudy, rainy, spring day in England!
It does sound a little more plausible! :)

I think Kyle forgot to put the cat...the one that was let out of the bag...Where is it?

Theres a nice open space up in the tree.

Haha...that's funny Mike. I loved that "logo" but truly, we need to get past it, especially after another website started using it as their own...go figure.

Ok...Ok, Time to go beyond the kitty. Didn't Presence.tv take some flak for wanting to move beyond?

Yeah, but only from those who are being left behind ;)

You beat me to that reply. I guess if you are superglued to your doctrine then it's always a bad idea to move in any direction.
