It's a madhouse!!!

They contort and fabricate strange scenarios to fit their end times fatalistic fantasies.
(Let us not forget, we were futurists at one time)
On the other hand we have the godless atheists who could care a less about all of our little theological squabbles. To them it is all rubbish, down to whether Jesus came back in 70 A.D. or is yet to return. They live out their lives with little to no regard for these things and seem no less tormented (at least not in the here and now).
We should not become elitists, thinking we are the only ones that know what’s going on.
But is this really a madhouse world where nothing can ever be known for certain? Where what seems clear is to be questioned and distorted to infinity? Doesn’t it just make you want to run out into the street yelling the same phrase that Heston so dramatically uttered with the precise anguish? – “It’s a madhouse!!! A madhouse!!!”
I pray to God that if this really is a Reformation that He is bringing about, that He help us all keep our sanity while we are labeled everything under the sun. While we are left feeling like little lonesome Elijahs. While we struggle with self doubt and feelings of seclusion. God help us. Carry us. Be as the Pillar of Smoke and Fire that led your people through the wilderness. Be as the ever present Light shinning without the aid of the sun or moon.

Well, since there is so much talk about it, allow me to provide a link to the Soylent Green quote. Although I don't think Heston's passion was in this utterance as it was in the "madhouse" quote:

I find it very funny how much dialogue that some of these silly things generate!!! Like the "favorite Star Trek Captain" forum!!! HAHAH! LOVE IT!

Good wav.
I botched the quote. I thought it was "Soylent Green is people" but it was "Soylent Green is made from people."
Sometimes I feel like yelling out, "Soylent green is PEOPLE!"
[Note: I am referencing a Heston line from another movie, where he discovers that the curious state-sponsored foodstuff "soylent green" is actually people. He yells out his quote to try to tell others].
Just so you know... "Soylent Green" was just released on DVD yesterday!!!! In case you need to see it again... (yeah, I know... sad... but I work at Blockbuster Video...)
Paul
There is only one way to watch Soylent Green...on video cassette tape...BETA video cassette tape.
Does Blockbuster Video have any BETA?
NOPE. Beta died with the Forn Pinto.... it just kind of crashed... and burned... sorry.... It hink to find Beta, you have to go to those dark, dank, sleezy video stores that market to a "different" audience!!! But thats only a guess!
