Art and Theology
When I arrived home today, a large box was waiting for me at the door. I did not know what to expect, but I was very much surprised to find a beautiful story inside: a painting telling the story of God's salvation and redemption of mankind.
When Jim Kessler first told me about his painting, he was showing me the original, and was sharing with me with passion the theological underpinnings of the painting: the story of Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed by fire..the story Noah being saved during the Flood, and the story of the Jewish temple being again destroyed by fire in A.D. 70.
Jesus described those events and connected them together in Matthew 24, predicting the coming of His presence which would be manifested very much like Sodom and the Flood, and would be marked by the fall of the Jewish temple.
I highly recommend you pickup a copy of this beautiful painting from Jim's website at http://www.inchristvictorious.com/. To quote Jim,
This is my first formal offering to the public. Here is your chance to buy inspiring art at the dawn of preterist culture. This is a limited release. Each copy is a full-size, numbered, hand signed reproduction of my original artwork. These paintings will offer decades of enjoyment, communicate the message of fulfilled prophecy, provide a conversation piece for friends and family and be an investment for the future. A successful offering will also enable more of these paintings to be reproduced at a later date. The next original painting slated for reproduction is "The Scroll, the Serpent, and Our Salvation" which will be made available when funds permit.
This painting can speak louder than a Bible study or an outline to Biblical prophecy, and it will give you a chance to share your view of prophecy with friends of family.
