Influential American evangelist Pat Robertson said Monday that Evangelical Christians feel so deeply about Jerusalem, that if President George W. Bush were to "touch" Jerusalem, Evangelicals would abandon their traditional Republican leanings and form a third party.Evangelical Christians - estimated at tens of millions of Americans -
overwhelmingly support Bush for his pro-Israel policies, Robertson told a Jerusalem news conference Monday.

Won't they all be surprised when its revealed, the USA is modern Israel and the nation in the middle east is Judea. "As goes Israel so goes the world."

On a related note, Jerry Falwell is openly hoaring his influence to fundamentalists with his dispensationalist, Zionist drivel. He was interviewed by a clearly condescending, cooing host on Israel National Radio. To spike your blood pressure, you can listen to it here (Windows Media Player format.)

Sadly, this comment from Pat Robertson only trumpets what most of us already knew. Evangelicals aren't pro-America, or even pro-Christianity--they are pro-Israeli.

Zionist Evangelicals aren't really committed to a better, more Christian country and world. They are only committed to their millennial myth and rapture goofiness.

Preterism is the only hope for Evangelicals. Robertson would abandon his country in a heartbeat if his country didn't support his millennial madness.

The sad thing is they cannot see they are bowing down to the anti-christ. Their really turning their backs on Jesus Christ to serve the man made Israel (idol worship).

How do you know Pat Robertson is correct? Evanjellyfish support Republicans for a variety of reasons. One of which is their desire to pass a law requiring them to have spines.

You are right, evangelicals are not single-issue voters. The Republicans will always pay lip service and send a few billion dollars to Israel every year anyway. For all the fans that watch Pat daily, and buy the special pancakes and pink shakes that Pat and his horse eat, most are still smart enough not to chase such a pipe dream.
