The Bloody Future of Israel In Dispensational Eschatology

by Gary DeMar

In THE LIVING END , Charles Ryrie claims that the Bible predicts "the time of Israel's greatest bloodbath."1 This is true, Ryrie contends, because the Bible is "history prewritten."2 Indeed, the Bible does predict a judgment on the Jews, but this event is now history. Instead of encouraging Jews to emigrate to the doomed city, Jesus warned the inhabitants of Jerusalem to flee from a judgment that was near at hand for them (Matt. 24:16). A number of Christian ministries raise funds to help Russian Jews to immigrate to Israel. Why do they do this when they know that two-thirds of the Jews living in Israel during the Great Tribulation will be slaughtered?

Proctor & Gamble Promoting Gay Sex in Ads

by Parker
P&G is aggressively promoting the homosexual agenda. A company ad for Downy Wrinkle Releaser leaves the impression that homosexual sex is thrilling and exciting. If you oppose this agenda and marketing strategy, join a boycott of three P&G products--Crest toothpaste, Tide detergent, and Pampers diapers--and call Chairman A.G. Lafley at 513-983-1100 to politely let him know that you are participating in the boycott and will ask others to do the same.

Final Interactions With A Former Pastor

by Roderick Edwards
Although, I was under the impression that Mr. Frost had resolved not to write directly to and about me (especially titling articles with my name), but nevertheless I will respond. Please forgive me for having to write directly to and about Mr. Frost but when he writes articles with my name in the title, I have no choice but in interact with him on that level, but this will be the last time I interact with “Pastor” Samuel Frost – from here on out, I’ll only interact with Brother Sam.

Animal Farm

by George Orwell

Mr. Jones, of the Manor Farm, had locked the hen-houses for the night, but was too drunk to remember to shut the pop-holes. With the ring of light from his lantern dancing from side to side, he lurched across the yard, kicked off his boots at the back door, drew himself a last glass of beer
from the barrel in the scullery, and made his way up to bed, where Mrs. Jones was already snoring.

The Jesus Movement, Christian Counter-Culture and Futurism

I grew up in an era when the Jesus Movement had its beginnings (the 60s and 70s). The whole counter-culture hippie movement of those days was focussed, originally (and primarily) on the Vietnam War, and the protests related to it. When that war ended, and even before that, a new “spirituality” was emerging. On the one hand, Eastern mysticism had exploded on the scene along with psychedelic drugs. Most hippies were experimenting with anything and everything. The youth in general in those days were flaunting their newfound “peace power” and challenging “the establishment” at every opportunity. “Love-ins” and “peace rallies” were commonplace.

Chimp can manipulate electronic voting results

On Sept 22, 2004 in Washington DC, five experts demonstrated various manipulations of the actual Sequoia and Diebold software to be used in the Nov. 2 election. Experts range in skill level from Dr. Herbert Thompson, a security expert and the author/editor of 12 books, to Baxter, a chimpanzee. A video illustrating the chimpanzee manipulating a Diebolt election machine can be downloaded here.

'Natural' catastrophes increasing worldwide

By Hal Lindsey

According to a new report issued Sept. 17 by UN-ISDR – the United Nations disaster reduction agency – there has been a global spike in worldwide natural catastrophes, as well as those of the manmade variety. More than 254 million people were affected by "natural disasters" last year. This is a near three-fold jump from 1990, according to data released by the interagency secretariat.

The Temple Mount Bombers

by Uri Avnery

The Security Service is haunted by a terrible fear: that another Israeli Prime Minister will be assassinated. The extreme right-wing, which does not hide its admiration for Yigal Amir and his deed, harbors some who dream of a similar action. After all, if Amir succeeded in murdering the Oslo process, why shouldn’t another Amir succeed in murdering the process of dismantling the settlements in the Gaza Strip?

CBS Coordinated "Memo" Release with Kerry Campaign

At the behest of CBS, an adviser to John Kerry said he talked to a central figure in the controversy over President Bush's National Guard service shortly before disputed documents were released. Joe Lockhart denied any connection between the presidential campaign and the papers. Lockhart, the second Kerry ally to confirm contact with retired Texas National Guard officer Bill Burkett, said he made the call at the suggestion of CBS producer Mary Mapes.
