The kingdoms of this world...

by Roderick Edwards
It must seem to some that Jesus’ words have failed, for it seems not that the kingdoms of this world are becoming and are being overcome by the Kingdom of Christ but rather that the Kingdom of Christ has been overshadowed and consumed by the kingdoms of this world.

Judge strikes down partial-birth abortion ban

A federal judge ruled today the federal partial-birth abortion ban is unconstitutional, striking a blow to those determined to outlaw the grisly procedure. The ruling of U.S. District Judge Richard Casey of Manhattan mirrors one in June in a separate case in San Francisco. One more challenge to the ban, which was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Bush, is still pending, in Nebraska.

Messianic Rabbi and The Presbyterians

Preterist Conference/Debate - SEPT 30th-OCT 2nd

This is our third annual conference hosted by Christ Covenant Church, a thriving community of saints that grew from a Bible study of 8 to over 40 in two years. Our first conference brought in Dr. Kelly Birks with about 35 attendees (2002). The second conference doubled in size when we hosted Thomas Ice and Mark Hitchcock along with Don Preston, Pastor Dave Curtis, Jack Scott and Elder Mike Grace. We had local newspaper coverage and Ice and myself were interviewed on the local FOXTV 13 station! It was a thrill.
