Super Bowl Prophecy

Don Preston recommended I send this to you guys: I thought it would be fun to find how this year's Super Bowl game is prophesied in the Scriptures. Here's the fruit of my studies from Daniel 7:6 along with the explanation of the prophecy:

A 40-Year Millennium?

by Ed Stevens

In this show essay, Ed Stevens arguest against point ten raised by Kenneth Gentry in his analysis of the Full Preterist view saying: "The prophetical expressions of the kingdom tend to speak of an enormous period of time, even employing terms that are frequently used of eternity. Does Christ's kingdom parallel David's so that it only lasts for the same time frame?"

Introducing A Biblically Balanced Soteriology – Part Four: Grace

This subject is one that has some very sensitive undertones and potentially divisive characteristics. Sadly, it is an issue that should unite us as Christians – and yet instead, we find ourselves at odds with respect to the nature and application of the principle of “grace”. This article will examine and draw contrasts between a couple of the key positions on “grace” and my own, then conclude with my understanding of the Biblical model of this principle.

The Order of Melchizedek and the Garden of Eden

I found it very interesting that Melchizedek brings bread and wine “Communion or Lord’s Supper” according to the order of Melchizedek. I guess that would make the Communion service still in effect for the new covenant.

Hinn-diana Jones and the Temple to Come

When surfing the television channels, I inevitably must pass the Trinity Broadcasting Network. I must admit that my attitude toward this is like, well, driving down the road and coming to the scene of a car wreck. “Move on,” you say to yourself, but you just can’t help rubbernecking.

Why the devil is speechless

by Roderick Edwards
My daughter recently came home from her Christian school telling me she was told to log the times the devil has come and spoken to her, evidently in as if to tempt her into doing evil over righteousness.

A Preterist Reviews The Resurrection of the Son of God by N. T. Wright

by Kent Ross

"In this, Wright does not see, or does not believe, the possibility that though Christ’s resurrection was real and physical, it might serve as a metaphor for believers being raised into the post A. D. 70 Kingdom of God on earth. This is not to say that he does not constantly see the resurrection as a metaphor for the Christian life. He does, and writes some elegant passages about the nature of spiritual resurrection for transformed saints."

Pope Slams Detrimental Media Portrayal of Sex

by Parker
Pope John Paul attacked television on Saturday for its light-hearted portrayal of sex and said positive images in the media of homosexuality and contraception were bad for society. His comments were likely to raise hackles in the gay community just days after a Belgian cardinal said the vast majority of gays and lesbians were "sexual perverts."

Anti-Defamation League continue defaming The Passion of Christ

After screening Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ," the Anti-Defamation League issued a scathing press release Thursday stating that the film will foster anti-Semitism.
