The Effects of Judged Time Upon Israel

"Israel actually had two Judged Time cycles running almost concurrently. The first affected Saul, the second affected David. The first began when Israel refused to enter the Promised Land (2450). The second began when Israel actually entered the Promised Land late (2488). The two events are 38 years apart, and so their end points are likewise 38 years apart."

The Shipwreck of the Preterist

by Roderick Edwards
My son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith. Among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme. – 1 Timothy 1:18-20

Archonology of Sacred Space

by Virgil Vaduva
Archonology(1) is a term coined by my friend Tim King, to enable Christians to better understand the "study of first things". While I personally consider eschatology (the study of last things) to be extremely important, I realize that archonology is just as important, if not more important that eschatology, in the general sense that it enables Christians to properly understand God and His relationship to us. A proper understanding of our own origins, the origins of the physical and spiritual realms, and "the why" of our lives, can enable us to become the better believer that God intends us to be.

Why America slept

This is an article by Joseph Farah from WND... I was wondering how we as preterists would respond to it? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=29468

GM Targets Christians in Marketing Drive

Chevrolet is sponsoring an evangelical concert tour in an effort to reach some Christians, a move criticized by some as crossing the line between business and religion. The "Chevrolet Presents: Come Together and Worship" stage show begins Nov. 1 in Atlanta and ends at the Palace at Auburn Hills, Mich., on Nov. 23.

Democrats turn Wellstone funeral into political rally

Though it was billed as a memorial service, many irate viewers and Republican leaders said the gathering for U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone and five others degenerated at times into a blatant political rally.

Cronkite warns of Armageddon

Walter Cronkite, once the most trusted man in America, is now warning World War III is around the corner. Speaking at Texas A&M Sunday, the former CBS News anchor, and lately a spokesman for globalist, one-world causes, said the United States should not take action against Iraq without the support of the United Nations.

Charting America's religious landscape

As they have throughout the nation's history, Americans see themselves today as a religious people, but their ties to churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples are in flux and continue to loosen. A dramatic rise has taken place over the past decade in the proportion of residents who say they have "no religious preference," even while most of them continue to believe in God. This group doubled between 1990 and 2001 to an unprecedented 14 percent of the population, according to a 2001 survey.
